I’m Ajay Kumar, and I’m proud to be the heart of AKC Foods, continuing my family’s dream with passion and dedication. My goal is to make sure every product we offer is of the highest quality and that we support our local farmers. Keeping my father’s legacy alive, I’m committed to bringing fresh and excellent dairy to everyone.

OUR STORY

From a Small House to a Dream Dairy

Rohitash Kumar, the founder of AKC Foods, has always believed in the power of farming. Growing up as a farmer’s son in India—a country deeply rooted in agriculture—he knew the importance of this work. After finishing school, he decided he wanted to be an independent farmer, despite the challenges and limited resources. With hard work and family support, he bought his first cow in 1995, marking the start of his journey. By 2001, he was sourcing milk from 100 cows, driven by a desire to provide clean, fresh dairy products. Seeing a shortage of good-quality milk in the market, Rohitash and his family aimed to fill that gap. They wanted to ensure people could enjoy pure and fresh dairy products. To continue this vision, his son, Ajay Kumar, started AKC Farms, named in honor of his father. The goal was to bring the best milk to people’s tables, honoring a legacy of quality and care. Rohitash’s vision was to make sure every farmer not only focuses on farming but also on delivering high-quality products. This vision is still alive today, as Ajay Kumar carries forward the commitment to excellence and community.

Turning Dreams into Reality

In 2019, they began building AKC Foods, their dream dairy facility. Just as they were making progress, the COVID-19 pandemic hit. This highlighted the need for safe, hygienic milk and sweets more than ever.

Meeting New Needs

In 2021, AKC Foods started producing pasteurized milk and sweets made with desi ghee. They also added lassi, dahi, and more to their range. To keep up with demand, they sourced extra milk from trusted farms in Rajasthan and Haryana, ensuring top quality.

Today and Beyond

Today, AKC Foods offers over 40 products, including sweets, lassi, dahi, and milk. They are proud to employ over 30 people and support more than 100 dairy farmers. Each product is made with care and dedication, reflecting their values and hard work.

We are grateful for the support of our community and excited about the future. Our story is one of perseverance, growth, and a commitment to bringing the best dairy products to your table. Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to many more years of quality and tradition!
